You know things we do not. If you can see the fire and it is real, you confirm it with one press and the alert becomes louder for your guests. If the farmer next door is burning stubble, you turn it down.

Several satellites watch Europe: some sharply but only a few times a day, one continuousousously but more coarsely. Together they miss little.

The satellites that look sharply pass over a few times a day. A fire that starts in between is only seen by the satellite that watches continuousousously, and that one sees large fires only. Usually you know between half an hour and three and a half hours after it starts.
Heavy cloud or a thick plume of smoke can hide a fire. In the Insight package you get a notice when satellite visibility at your site is limited, so you know when you cannot rely on us.
FireSignal is an extra safety net and a head start on information. Not a replacement for the emergency number, the authorities, FR-Alert or your own protocol. The same honesty is on our public map.
Knowing earlier that something is burning means you can divert, scale down or evacuate on your own terms instead of under pressure.

As soon as a satellite has seen the fire and the data has been processed: usually between half an hour and three and a half hours after the pass. A fire that started between two passes may therefore still be invisible. Large fires are then updated every ten minutes.
Several filter layers remove recurring industrial heat sources automatically, usually within a few days and retroactively. A source that still gets through can be muted with one click; new fires continuousouse to alert as normal.
Current coverage is Europe and the Mediterranean. The underlying satellite data is global; other regions are possible on request.
We process only the site name, coordinate, alert radius and the email addresses of recipients. The system runs on servers in Europe. Your data is not shared and not used for anything other than your alerting.
Besides email, Teams, Slack and your own webhook are available, with a digital signature on every message. That is part of the Integration package.
No. FireSignal is an information aid. In case of danger always follow official channels such as 112, NL-Alert or FR-Alert, and the instructions of the fire service and local authorities.
